The work begun by Peter Sichel in 1961 and which he continued for more than forty years allowed the Château Angludet to pick up the threads of its glorious past and gain the recognition of growing numbers of connoisseurs all over the world.
Today, Peter and Diana 's five sons represents the sixth generation of Sichels involved in viticulture and wine trading, and they work together to develop the family business. Benjamin manages the estate, guided by a philosophy of respect for the subtle balance inherent in the land, the vines and the wine.
Allan, Charles, James and David work in Bordeaux for Maison Sichel, which distributes the wines of Angludet in over 60 countries.
The youngest child, Rebecca, manages her own horse-riding business.
The seventh generation recently joined Maison Sichel and Château Angludet. Allan’s sons, Alexander and Max, and James eldest daughter, Daisy, are earning their wings as sales representatives.
